Welcome to another episode of the Wine Series!
Almost reaching the end of the series, we went for a walk around Quinta da Teixuga and recorded this episode in the vineyards of the grape variety known as queen in Dão whites - Encruzado! And it is from these very special vineyards that we present to you an equally special wine, Caminhos Cruzados Reserva Encruzado.
Encruzado allows us to "make wines with great aging capacity, very gastronomic wines, perfect companions for the table, year-round white wines with an immense gastronomic spectrum and which give us a lot, a lot of joy to taste over the years and see how the passage of time is only good for you", says Lígia Santos.
Caminhos Cruzados Reserva Encruzado is a wine that presents volume, freshness, minerality and complexity resulting from aging for around 12 months in French oak barrels.
After aging in the bottle, it is now at the optimum point for consumption.
Try it, enjoy and share with us!
Tell us if it gave you as much pleasure to produce it as it did for us! Cheers!
